Summary
This study was designed to determine whether children's rehabilitation centres in Ontario are highly responsive to the needs of children with disabilities and their families. Our findings indicated that they are, and that there is substantial consistency across the centres in the way that service providers communicate with families, respect families' expertise and strengths, and build positive expectations for children with disabilities.
