Brain Smart- Let's Play Safely!

This project aims to learn about the current practices regarding concussion protocols in organized youth minor sports in Hamilton and the best way to supporteach organization in developing its own feasible concussion protocol. The key objectives of this concussion education strategy are: 

  • To reduce the risk of concussionin organized youth sports
  • To maintain and increase safe participation in organized youth sports 
  • To increase knowledge of concussion management with various stakeholders, including but not limited to youth athletes, coaches and parents
